Who Is Jesus Christ?

Who is Jesus Christ? He’s the God-man, the eternal Son of God who, in the fullness of time, took on flesh and became fully human – while remaining fully God. This is so important because of what it means for our salvation. If we understand who Christ really is, we can understand who we really are.  Steve Christoforou speaks about this in the following video from Be the Bee.

Contemporary Charismatic Elders

The Orthodox faithful have been blessed over the past century with many great elders and saints even up to the present day.  In the following video from Pemptousia, Metropolitan Athanasios of Limassol, Cyprus, speaks about these charismatic elders “who show us exactly the image of the person who is perfect in Christ.”

Saint Cosmas of Aetolia

This week (August 24th) we commemorate Saint Cosmas of Aetolia, one of the great missionary saints of the Orthodox Church and an equal-to-the-apostles.  He contributed greatly to the revival of Orthodoxy in Ottoman occupied Greece during the eighteenth century.  Learn more about Saint Cosmas in this video from Trisagion Films.
